Vestas is expanding its blade factory in Goleniów, Poland, which manufactures blades for the company’s onshore V172-7.2 MW EnVentus turbine. A second production line is being added, doubling the site’s capacity.
The extension will require more than 300 new staff. Vestas operates 10 factories in Europe serving both onshore and offshore markets, and the Goleniów facility will supply blades for projects across Europe.
